 |
| External training organisations send details of their training programmes, seminars and workshops. Training needs are also met by nominating persons to specific external programmes. |
| |
 |
| Only those external programmes that are relevant to the organisation’s business requirement or are relevant to a specific function or role are selected for nominations. |
| |
 |
| In case of external programmes, information is sent to only the specific Head to whom the course is relevant. |
| |
| The concerned Head then nominates individuals, taking into account the contents, relevancy, cost, etc. of the programme. The Training-in-Charge makes a tentative registration for the individual(s) with the concerned vendor. The nominated individual(s) is intimated by a formal communication. |
| |
| Persons nominated to external programmes must submit a report and feedback to the Training-in-Charge. If the need arises in due course, the individual must participate in designing a programme for internal requirements. |
| |
 |
| Persons may be nominated to external programmes that are held locally and other cities in India. Occasionally, where a training need becomes absolutely essential and cannot be fulfilled domestically, an individual may be nominated to an overseas programme. Nomination to an overseas training programme needs the approval of the Chairman & Managing Director. |
| |
 |
| For external programmes, which are not local, existing rules of travel and accommodation for specified levels will become applicable. The Training-in-Charge will request the Admin dept. to make necessary arrangements for travel and stay. |
